HALL OF FAME

During the 2012 - 2013 Season it was decided that Great Barr Rangers Football Club would start its very own Hall of Fame

With over 300 players pulling on the famous GBR kit it was the chosen few whom would make the desired list to be a member of the Hall of Fame. Every year 3 players would be nominated into the Hall and recieve a Hero's reception at that years End of Season Awards night. (5 Nominations were given the award on the first inducteed list in 2013)

Longest standing player at Club, joined back in 1998 and at the tender age of 41 still showing no signs of slowing down. Captain Marvel in every sense of the word and known around the Grass roots regions as simply BIG WAYNE Hall of fame 2013

Steven Kemp

An amazing Left footed full back, that was super fit and worked his socks off in every game played. Managed GBR FC after Antony Minshull stepped down. Hall of fame 2013

One of the Original 10 founder members and still up to last season (2013-2014) played apart on the field. Hall of fame 2013

Simon Lister

Simon Lister

Cup final winning skipper, who lead from the front. Legendary Roar could be heard around Redhouse Park, tough tackling, great passer, goal scorer, leader!! Hall of fame 2014

Adam Snaith

Adam Snaith

Strong brut of a defender with a great touch and pass, could play anywhere in the back line. Club treasurer for many seasons, Clubman of the Year award many times. Hall of fame 2013

Josh Breeze

Top goal scorer (40) 2012-2013 Cup final goal scorer and MoM award Great young lion, pace, skill and shot to die for!! What a great young prospect

Peter Kimberley

Peter Kimberley

Powerful midfielder, engine that gives you 110% every game. No more honest a player than Pete on a pitch. Came to club as a young lion but shown he was a true King Lion. Hall of fame 2014

Rhino runs have been sorely missed since PJ hung up his boots. A powerful centre half or sweeper, he could read the game superbly Must get inducted into future Hall of fame?

The designer of the GBR FC Badge used on most things Great Barr. Jim was an outstanding right back for many seasons Hall of fame 2014

Melvin Nunney

Goal scorer, warrior, legend!! Melvin finished top goal scorer on 5 occasions and until recently was the highest goals scored in one season (38) Hall of fame 2013
